The staff at Matamanoa Island Resort are so disinterested and unhelpful, it's a wonder they even have jobs. The grounds are moderately well-kept and the food is barely edible. Definitely not worth the high price.
The staff's enthusiasm and attentiveness truly made my stay unforgettable.

I had always wanted to visit Matamanoa Island and chose the Resort for its location. The fast transfers offered by Island Hoppers and Pacific Island Air from Nadi Airport to Matamanoa Island were incredibly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of the staff singing the 'bula' song. The surrounding coral reefs were stunning, with diverse marine life including turtles, reef sharks, and colorful fish. The Central Facility Area was well-equipped, and the menu offered a great variety of both Fijian and Western cuisine.
Plunge pool a bit small.

Secluded island with beautiful villas, sunny plunge pools, and a perfect beach. Friendly staff always ready to help, offering activities like snorkeling and tennis. Gorgeous trip to nearby Castaway Island for more snorkeling.

Cleanliness and upkeep of the resort are top-notch. The location is ideal for a true escape experience yet not too far from Denarau. The staff treated us like family and went above and beyond to assist us. The lack of distractions - like a TV - added to the castaway feel.
Totally recommend.

The bungalows were beautifully decorated with traditional tapa cloths, creating a stunning atmosphere. The pool and surrounding areas were amazing, providing a great place to relax. The bar served fantastic drinks, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The resort had beautiful areas that could be made even better with a bit of effort. The best part was the snorkeling on the surrounding reefs, which were easily accessible and offered incredible diversity. Being an adults-only resort allowed for even more relaxation. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The property had good vegetarian meal options and offered a good variety of activities. The beachfront bungalow was absolutely perfect with its spacious layout and comfortable amenities. The beaches on both sides of the island were beautiful. The activities in the evenings, such as the kava ceremony and dancing, were nicely set up. we had an amazing time and would love to come back. The only potential improvement would be in the food offerings.

The island was beautiful, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were well-designed and had plenty of ventilation, making it easy to enjoy the natural breeze. There were also kayaks available for a fun adventure on the water.
The food choices were quite limited with only one restaurant. the prices were quite high.

I had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect - right by the beach with stunning sunrises and sunsets. The staff were amazing, always friendly and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel also offered a variety of activities, from swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters to enjoying a relaxing massage in a treehouse overlooking the ocean. This place truly exceeded my expectations!
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Don't miss out on this amazing experience!

The island is small and quiet, providing a serene and intimate vacation spot. The ocean view is breathtaking, and the beachfront villas are beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor shower was a unique feature. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making sure our needs were met. The meal plan included a good selection of dishes.
Some areas of the island were under construction, which was a slight drawback.

Beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. The location was perfect for snorkelling with exotic marine life. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to lend a hand. Great amenities and beautiful ocean view.
The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Limited options and no variety.

I had an amazing stay in this hotel that exceeded my expectations. The location was incredible, with a beautiful coral reef right off the beach where I could snorkel and see many fish. The hotel facilities were fantastic, especially the pool area where I could relax and unwind. The staff was friendly, smiley and happy to help, making me feel welcome and special. I couldn't have asked for a cleaner room, such comfortable accommodation, better breakfast or a better value for my money.
Nothing negative to say.
